Joseph Jones of Petal receives Multiple Awards | Schools

The following is a press release from William Carey University:

(left to right) Joseph Jones of Petal displays the award presented to him by Dr. Thomas Richardson, professor and chair of William Carey University’s department of language and literature, following WCU Honors Day 2012. Jones, who graduated from WCU in May with a double major in English and history, received the Outstanding English Major Award, as well as the J. V. McCrory Creative Writing Award for Short Drama. He also received the Joe Roberts Memorial Forensics Society Award, which is presented to the student who best represents the WCU Speech and Debate Team and acts as a leader on campus.
