Burglars steal $4,000 air handler from renovated home Sunday night | Crime

The following is a message from the owner:

I'm renovating a home in Petal and Sunday night thieves stole a brand new 4 ton Rheem inside air handler and outside unit with heat pump.

This unit cost me $4,000 plus installation. The theft occurred last night at 302 Mitchell St. in Petal. I have filed a police report and the police informed me that this was the first theft of its kind in quite a while.
